Good value tickets

I was looking for the best price for Parc Astérix tickets and found a Billet Malin deal online. It saved us a good 10€ per ticket compared to the gate price, which was worth it for our family of four. The booking process was straightforward, and receiving the e-tickets was quick. We also decided to bring our own picnic to save even more, which was allowed. Overall, I felt like I got good value for my money and the kids had a great time on rides like Tonnerre 2 Zeus.

Fun day, minor issues

My visit to Parc Astérix with a Billet Liberté was mostly positive. The park itself is well-maintained, and the Romus et Rapidus ride was a lot of fun. I did notice the lines for some of the bigger attractions, like Goudurix, were quite long, even for a weekday. I didn't get a Filotomatix pass this time but might consider it if I go again during a busier period. The food at Menu Restaurant Le Cirque was okay, nothing special, but it filled us up. Parking was a bit pricey too. Delivery of the e-tickets was instant after purchase, which was great, but I had to print them out myself as I wasn't sure if showing them on my phone would be enough.

So much fun!

I bought Billet Adulte tickets for my family and we had an absolute blast! Toutatis was incredible, a real thrill. The shows were also amazing. I can't wait to go back, maybe for Peur sur le Parc next time!

How does Parc Asterix compare to Disneyland Paris? Thinking of doing one or the other, or both if they're different enough.

D Danielle Moore 1 week ago
They're super different. Parc Asterix is more about the rides and the comic book theme, very French. Disneyland is more fairytale and international. If you like thrill rides, Asterix wins.

Asterix has some really unique big coasters. Disneyland is more about the 'magic' and characters. Both are fun but for different vibes. Asterix can be a bit more intense.

Can you change the date of a ticket if something comes up? Or are they strictly for the day you pick?

L Linda Wright 2 weeks ago
It depends on the ticket type. Some of the cheaper ones, like Billet Malin, are usually fixed. But I think the Billet Liberté gives you more flexibility to change dates.

I had to change a Billet Malin once, and it was a bit of a hassle. I think you have to pay a fee or upgrade to a more flexible ticket. Best to double check their policy for your specific ticket type.

Is it worth getting one of those Filotomatix things? Like, do the lines get really bad on busy days?

L Linda Gomez 2 weeks ago
Oh for sure, especially for the big rides like Toutatis or OzIris. If it's a weekend or school holidays, I'd say spring for at least the Bronze. Saves so much time.

I went during summer vacay and the lines were insane. Wish I'd gotten one. Next time, for sure, I'm getting the Gold pass just to skip everything.

My kid is just under 1.20m, will they be able to go on most of the rides or are there a lot of height restrictions?

A Adam Sanchez 2 weeks ago
For Toutatis, it's 1.30m, and some of the bigger coasters will have similar limits. But there are still plenty of rides for smaller kids, especially in the newer areas.

They have clear height signs at each ride. My niece was about that height and still had a blast, just couldn't do all the super fast ones. Lots of other stuff to do, like shows and smaller rides.

Hey, thinking of taking my kids to Parc Asterix this summer. What's the deal with tickets? Is there a cheaper option than just showing up?

S Sam Hall 1 day ago
Yeah, totally! Look for the Billet Malin, that's usually the cheapest if you buy ahead. But you gotta book it like, at least a week before you go.

Also, if you're going with a bigger group or know your dates, Billet Tribu can save you some cash. We used it last year and it was way better than regular price.
